…“Not everyone is mature enough to live a married life. It requires a certain aptitude and grace. …But if you’re capable of growing into the largeness of marriage, do it.” —Matthew 19:11-12 The Message
Enlarge. It means to increase, expand, broaden, or amplify. God, the Creator of marriage, wants to use your union as an instrument of enlargement. If you will yield to His masterful plan, He will work through your mate to make you more like Jesus and enable you to abound in all you do.
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. (Proverbs 27:17 NIV)
Your spouse is a major contributor to forming you into the person you are today. What’s one positive change to your character or quality of life that has resulted from your relationship with your spouse? How is God presently using them to enlarge your life?
Have you ever thanked your spouse for helping sharpen you and enlarge your life? If not, take time today to sincerely express your appreciation.
