Creative Administrative Assistant

Want to be involved in the fast-paced world of the creative arts? We’re looking for a skilled part-time administrator to help with all things creative at Messenger. You’ll work closely with productions for Messenger Studios, be involved in Messenger Courses, and be a support to other various projects that the Creative team is a part of. 
You should have excellent communication skills, an upbeat attitude, and love working with the details. You’ll be called upon to assist in office tasks, coordinating projects, communicating with outside vendors, managing schedules, scouting locations, and more. You should be able to handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, homing pigeons, and e-mail, making reservations or travel arrangements, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.

This position is located at our Colorado headquarters.


  • Providing assistance to Messenger Studios which may include:
    1. Scouting locations
    2. Coordinating acting talent
    3. Production assistance
    4. Post-production admin support
  • Providing support to Messenger Courses which may include:
    1. Coordinating studio schedules
    2. Creating run-sheets
    3. Providing production support
    4. Post-production admin support
  • Assisting with the execution of other Messenger events

  • Computer Skills: Experience in Microsoft Office products.
  • Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Please reference your portfolio in our application.
  • Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to constituents, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
