Where Everyone, Everywhere Begins
There are over 2 billion people in the world who don’t have access to discipleship resources in their language. A believer across the globe may hear the Gospel, say yes, and then the conversation ends. Not because anyone meant to leave them there, but because no one had any resources to help them continue.
Messenger International exists to close that gap—not just with one book, but with a full discipleship library in every language. Our aspiration is to be the most effective discipleship organization in the world. And Phase 1 of our global discipleship plan is a meaningful step in that direction.
Phase 1
The 14/14/7 Goal
14 books. 14 audiobooks. 7 video courses.
Thirty-five resources, translated into the top 140 languages across the globe. Enough for a believer to start at the beginning and keep going for years. Enough for a pastor to build a discipleship pathway for his whole church. This is where we begin to reach everyone, everywhere with bold biblical truth.
Discipleship is the Aim
The work never happens at the scale of “everyone, everywhere.” It happens one language at a time, in a room where someone opens a box of books.
In East Africa, ‘everyone’ included Pastor David and Pastor Chris, who stood in that room the first time the Maasai people held A Heart Ablaze by John Bevere in their language.
“The first time I distributed these books, they asked me—how is it that we have books in the Maasai language? Now we have these books and we are so happy, and we are praying that God will open more doors.”
—Pastor David
Language says it all—a believer can read the Gospel in a borrowed language and still feel a disconnect. But heart language is different. It is where truth transforms from a lesson into a personal revelation. The language that they pray in, grieve in, celebrate in and worship in should also be the language they are discipled in.
When discipleship becomes personal, it no longer is just words on a page. It is brought to life in a single sentence: you were not overlooked.
“On behalf of the Maasai people, I have to say—thank you very much for touching our hearts. Maasai people have been forgotten, but you remembered them. The Lord has remembered us through you.”
—Pastor Chris

Global Impact
The top 140 most widely-spoken languages cover over 90% of the global population.
With the necessary funding, we estimate that we could complete Phase 1 in four years.
Current Need: $12,300,000
Currently, we've completed 54.5% of our Phase 1 goal: 14 books, 14 audiobooks and 7 video courses in the top 140 languages. God has accelerated that number meaningfully, thanks to the generosity of people like you.
Many of you were at Messenger Cup this year and gave generously to move this goal forward—thank you! Every percentage point on this page has your fingerprints on it, and in villages just like the Maasai, believers are holding bold biblical truth in the language they pray in because of your generosity.
